UR, I figure that if anyone started a country of their own, it would be like beginning with a blank sheet of paper......filling in things as ya go.....and if anyone didn't want to live happy and free of all the political and other schmucky shtuff going on in the rest of the world, they would be given a one-way ticket back...(wriggles eyebrows)

Yes, Candlestick....seems the borg was against any FUN things.....with the exception of mildly entertaining recreation or games or get-togethers.....but to actually PLAY, or CELEBRATE....or become JOYFUL over something was too excessive and prolly sinful to them....yeah, life is great now!

geesh....sounds like a few of yall are gettin' rigid and militant as ruling classes....as for moi......I'd rather rule a country in a way that there would be music in the air and people dancin' in the streets....flowers everywhere......and a barter system....

for all of you who made a conscious decision to leave the organization.. what was the price you had to pay or what was you willing to give up in order to be true to yourself.
( wife, children, extended family, friends, jobs...etc).
and how have you coped?
When I broke free, it cost me everything I had, except my mind, and even THAT was in doubt at times......and if I had it to do all over again, I'd do it again.

i think exjdubs should adopt new hampshire's three kick rule (below) and apply it to uninvited witlesses at their doors..

a big city new york lawyer went duck hunting in rural new hampshire.. he shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other.
(hands TeeJay a butt pillow)....Sad, the countryside up there is just GORGEOUS....I can remember driving down the hwys in the autumn when the trees were aflame with color....what a wonderful area to live in! Ya lucky ducks!

i know this is bound to open up a lot of topics here, especially those who want to make clear their opinion that god does not exist.. that being said, this is for those who do believe in god.. .
do you believe in a heaven, and if so, when you get there, in your opinion, will you ever personally walk up to god or jesus and talk to them face to face?.
as i left the witnesses, i have gotten a better understanding of the bible, and my personal belief is that we do have a heavenly hope.
Yes, I am....and yes, I have met him, Oz.....so how does that make it obtuse?
